Location Entry Behavior BC-native timer observation

This optional live check observes BC’s native timer behavior for a standard appearance itemset. It is not a feature activation gate and does not authorize testing on production accounts, rooms, or databases.

Safe test setup

• Use explicit approval, dedicated BC test room/accounts, and RUNTIME_TARGET=test.
• Create a harmless itemset through the standard appearance itemset editor. Set one supported timer lock with an explicit durationMs and removeItemOnExpiry; do not rely on feature defaults.
• In the isolated test database, configure location-entry-behavior.rules with an enabled rule for a test location type that references the itemset. Preserve and record existing test policy, location, and itemset values before changing them.
• Confirm the subject has a clean target appearance group. Move from outside an enabled test point into it so the event is a real location transition.

Observe and restore

Record the initial appearance and BC lock timer from the subject’s character view, and the room observer view if available. After Location Entry Behavior applies the set, stop the bot and observe the outcome through the configured BC timer. Record both views and any divergence; the bot does not perform expiry work or resolve disagreements.

Do not retry an uncertain appearance mutation. Restore the test appearance and the exact prior policy, location, and itemset after the timer is no longer active. Remove only test records created for this observation.

This procedure is optional operator verification of BC behavior. The feature’s only timed-release input is the lock configuration already stored in the shared appearance itemset; offline tests establish only that those values are passed through to the shared BC appearance action.
